Next Steps

  • Publishing to a platform (using Garmin as an example)

    • Follow the platform’s process to upload your asset bundle and configuration files.
    • Fill in watch face name, description, tags, preview images, and other details.
    • Submit for review and wait for the platform’s result.
  • Updating watch faces and version management

    • For each update, it’s recommended to:
      • Keep historical versions in Wristo (or use version numbers to manage them).
      • Update the version number and changelog in your configuration files.
    • Avoid overwriting the live version without a backup so you can roll back if necessary.
  • User feedback and iteration

    • Adjust your design based on user feedback and metrics (downloads, retention, etc.).
    • Iterate in small steps: change only a few key elements at a time and keep observing the impact.
  • Monetization paths (if available)

    • If the platform supports paid watch faces or in-app purchases:
      • Pay attention to pricing strategy and target audience.
      • Balance unique, expressive design with mainstream aesthetics.
    • For specific rules and revenue sharing details, refer to the "Designer Onboarding Rules" and "Designer Onboarding Plan" documents.
